Kara Morgan

Kara Morgan doesn’t just run through the forest - she charges through it with purpose. From her first school relay win to representing New Zealand across the Tasman, Kara has built a reputation as an athlete who thrives when the pressure rises and the terrain gets tougher. She has stacked up national titles in orienteering sprint, long and relay events, proving she’s as sharp with a map as she is fast on her feet.

But Kara’s story isn’t just about medals. It’s about momentum. Since 2024 she has progressed from podiums to becoming Auckland’s sprint champion, moving onto junior Rogaine titles and then earning her black singlet as a New Zealand Schools representative. She can be described as fiercely competitive yet unshakeably calm, the kind of athlete who lifts all the others simply by being in the team.

Kara’s engine doesn’t switch off when she leaves the forest. Her 2026 cross‑country results show the same grit, helping her school secure national team podiums. In the classroom, she is also a standout - collecting academic excellence awards across languages, sciences, mathematics and more. These all go alongside trophies recognising kindness, curiosity and character.

Driven, disciplined and quietly determined, Kara is building a legacy defined by consistency, humility and hard work. She is the athlete who shows up early, studies late, and competes with heart. And she’s only just getting started.
